We'll start this Sunday catchup with a quick reminder: Talk to me! If you have any comments about the Monkey Queen books, the short stories, the setting in general, Willow's art, penguins, what Disney Infinity figures should be next, or anything else I discuss here, feel free to leave a comment here! I really don't bite, and I'd love to hear from you! (You can also tweet me, or leave a comment on the Facebook page.) More after the cut.
Quiet week on the news front, so I'm going to talk about webcomics. I love reading them, and I love finding new ones for my daily reading. Here are two I've discovered recently, with a hat tip to novelist Elizabeth Watasin.
Mooncakes, by Suzanne Walker and Wendy Xu, is described by its creators as "A queer, Chinese-American paranormal romance". I like the characters, and the art is very nice. And it hasn't been running for long, so catching up will be easy. Give it a look.
Good Tickle Brain, by Mya Gosling. Because we all need slightly snarky but still affectionate stick figure webcomics about Shakespeare. Plus, bonus stuff about librarians and raccoons, and "A Mid-StarWars Night's Dream". Really.
And speaking of Star Wars: In case you were wondering what happened to BB-8, our favorite new droid is doing just fine...
